As a privately owned small business, Davies Animal Medical Hospital is rooted in our community.
For 35 years and counting, we’ve cared for generations of local pets, turned neighbors into team members and clients into family, and supported causes that strengthen this place we call home.

By being available: Extended hours and expanded services
Being a good neighbor means making time for others. With extended hours, urgent care visits, and more accessible communication channels like text and email, we make it easier for busy pet owners to meet their pets’ care needs.
By caring for animals in need: Feral cat veterinary care
Community means caring for the unwanted and unloved. We work closely with Yuba County, Sutter County, and local rescues to provide spay and neuter services and basic veterinary care for feral cat colonies—helping to reduce pet overpopulation and improve quality of life for feral cats.

Home team? We’re behind you all the way. Davies is a proud supporter of local athletic teams and organizations. We also proudly sponsor the Yuba-Sutter County Fair and are members of the Yuba City and Gridley Chamber of Commerce.
By preparing the next generation: Veterinary mentorship
Deep roots help us grow the next generation of caregivers. As a teaching hospital, we provide structured mentorship for early-career veterinarians and veterinary technician students and graduates from nearby Yuba College.
